Pascal Breton (PhD) – Chief Executive Officer

Holder of a PhD (1989) from the University of Orléans (France), Dr. Pascal Breton had carried out researches for 3 years at the National Institute of Health, USA and benefits from a strong 19 years’ experience in the French and North-American pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
Alongside Dr. Nicole Bru, former owner and Chairman of Laboratoires UPSA (now part of Bristol-Myers & Squibb), he notably founded and headed Virsol (Halisol Group), that was focused essentially in developing novel drug delivery systems, biomaterials and medical devices such as a novel wound suture glue that should be launched in the US in 2010. Within Halisol Group he was also a Biotech Investment Director and served as a Board Director of companies like Conjuchem Inc. (Montreal), Rimon Therapeutics Ltd. (Toronto), BagTech Corp. (Montreal) or Aarmedis Corp. (Baltimore).
More recently, within IDM S.A. (IDM Pharma Inc. Group), Dr. Pascal Breton was a Director, Business Development and a Project Leader for the development of MEPACT®/Junovan®, a product registered in EU in early 2009 and to be marketed by Takeda/Millennium. Prior to join VitamFero as a full-time employee, Dr. Pascal Breton was a Key Account Manager Global Business Development Biotech with SGS Life Science Services.
In parallel to these different responsibilities, for 6 years, Dr. Pascal Breton had put a lot of himself in the creation and development of VitamFero he joined on January 1st, 2009 as a Chief Executive Officer.
Didier Roy - Development Manager

Didier Roy holds a degree in Analytic Engineering and an MBA from Paris I Panthéon- Sorbonne. Didier began his career in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry 24 years ago in the department of Preformulation at Laboratoires UPSA, now part of Bristol-Myers & Squibb.
In the late 1990's, he joined Virsol, an affiliate of the Halisol Group, where he headed pharmaceutical development operations and enabled, in particular, approval in the USA of a wound closure product.
More recently, within the Halisol Group, he was in charge of Business Development and Life Sciences investments.
Edouard Sèche (PhD) – Research Manager
Holder of a PhD in Biology and Molecular & Cellular Biophysics (2003) from the University of Orléans (France), Dr. Edouard Sèche performed his thesis research project at the Molecular Biophysics Center of CNRS. To complete his education in management and business administration, Dr. Edouard Sèche also took lessons from CNAM, a trading and business authority in Orléans. Diversifying its training at the “Institut des Hautes Finances” in Paris, he will soon be an holder of an MBA.
In 2003, he joined Dr. Pascal Breton as a Project Co-Leader for the creation of VitamFero. In 2005, he became the first VitamFero employee as a Director Research & Development.
As of today, Dr. Edouard Sèche is in charge of, setting up and following up R&D programs, preparing grant applications and relationships with VitamFero’s partners (i.e. public labs, industrial partners, CRO, CMO, etc…).
